Pragma’s Partner, Chair of the Subsoil Use Committee at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alyona Shulima moderated an expanded session of the Subsoil Use Committee at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on "Subsoil Use in Ukraine: What's on the Agenda?", held on July 8, 2026.
The event brought together representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine, the State Commission of Ukraine on Mineral Reserves, business, industry associations, and the expert community for an open professional dialogue on current challenges and prospects for the development of the subsoil use sector.
The event was held with the participation of Hennadiy Chyzhykov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who delivered the opening remarks.
In the first panel, dedicated to state policy and the strategic agenda, the speakers were Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management Oleh Bondarenko, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Yehor Perelyhin, and Acting Head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine Serhii Vlasenko.
Practical aspects of the industry's development were discussed by the participants of the second panel — Chair of the State Commission of Ukraine on Mineral Reserves Serhii Paiuk, Head of the Natural Resources and Subsoil Use Department at the Ministry of Economy Yuliia Radchenko, and Head of the Geology Department at the State Service of Geology and Subsoil Vasyl Stryzhak.
