On April 25th, Alyona Shulima, Pragma’s Partner, Ph.D., the Head of the GR Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association, participated in a meeting of committee heads of the Ukrainian Bar Association, during which current issues of the committees' activities and their interaction were discussed.
During the meeting, Alyona Shulima spoke about the adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On Lobbying" and its potential impact on the activities of the legal community. In the discussion of possible forms of work for the committees of the Ukrainian Bar Association and their cooperation, she also shared her own experience in finding acceptable and interesting forms of committee’s activities depending on the demands of the time.
At the end of the meeting, Mykola Stetsenko, President of the Ukrainian Bar Association, and Viktoria Krasnova, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Bar Association, presented Pragma Consulting Group with an award from the Association of Lawyers of Ukraine for their support of the annual activities of the GR Committee in 2023.
On the same day, Pragma’s Partner attended the XVIII Forum "Development of the Legal Services Market" of the Ukrainian Bar Association, where participants discussed current trends, insights, and prospects for the development of companies providing legal services.
Alyona Shulima had been the Head of the Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association on Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, and Human Rights from 2015 to 2019, and has been the Head of the GR Committee of the Association since 2021.
