Yurydychna Gazeta together with Pragma Consulting Group and the GR Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association, conducted a survey among legal (consulting) firms and businesses regarding business-government interaction and the development of GR services in legal and consulting firms. The research provides initial insights into key trends and helps assess the prospects for forming GR strategies.
“The study revealed that the demand for GR services, particularly in the context of establishing in-house GR teams, is increasing. However, the effectiveness of interaction with the government, especially in wartime conditions, requires improvement. The survey indicates certain positive expectations regarding implementing the Law of Ukraine ‘On Lobbying,’ but these expectations are mixed with skepticism about compliance by all lobbying entities and concerns about the new regulation among stakeholders.
The actual situation and shifts in sentiment after the law comes into effect will largely depend on how transparent and objective its enforcement will be, both at the initial stages of implementation and in the context of a changing political landscape,” said Alyona Shulima, Ph.D., Pragma’s Partner and Head of the GR Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association.
